ABOUT US
Priscilla is 28 and of Puerto Rican, Irish and German descent. She was born and raised in New York City, the oldest daughter of six children to Laura Smith and Antonio Perez. Having lived in Manhattan and the Bronx she graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School. She attended college at both NJIT in New Jersey and NYU in New York City. She currently works for an engineering firm in New York City as an Electrical Systems designer, her interests are in Architecture and Jewelry Making.
Salvatore is 39 and of Italian descent. He was born and raised in Jersey City and Old Bridge New Jersey, the oldest son of three children to Teresa and Nicola Cameli. He graduated from East Brunswick Vo-Tech and began working for an engineering firm. He's an IT consultant with his own business supporting clients in the tri-state area. His interests are in computers, home theater equipment and knife collecting.
HOW WE MET
We met 10 years ago while working for the same engineering firm. Priscilla was an intern and Sal was head of the CAD department.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Sal proposed to Priscilla on Valentines Day. They had planned to go adopt a new kitten, and even though it was snowing out, made it out to Long Island and picked out a gorgeous kitten named Valentine. Priscilla thought that alone was perfect, but then Sal handed her a toy he bought for the new kitten and hidden inside was the ring! It was sweet and unexpected after 9 years of dating.
THE CLADDAGH
The Claddagh, an ancient Gaelic symbol, is today a universal symbol of lasting love, eternal friendship, and loyalty. It was first designed around 400 years ago in a small village near Galway, Ireland. The Claddagh symbol shows a crown above two hands clasping a heart in the middle. The Claddagh is often placed on betrothal bands to represent holding a lover's heart in one's hands. "With these hands I give you my heart and I crown it with my love."
The crown symbolizes loyalty.
The hands symbolize friendship.
The heart symbolizes love.
